Cherokee Nation Businesses is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Project Manager to support the 354 Civil Engineer Squadron at Eielson Air Force Base AlaskaCandidate will work as an integral part of our company's and the Air Force's design and construction management team to provide day-to-day management of the design and construction process, technical reviews, and proactive engagement with agents and stakeholders to complete designs and ensure Air Force receives Beneficial Occupancy on schedule, within cost, and as needed to meet mission requirementsCompensation &

Estimated Starting Salary Range for Electrical Engineer:
$135,000 - $155,000 Pay commensurate with experienceFull time benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K and other possible benefits as providedBenefits are subject to change with or without noticeElectrical Engineer Responsibilities Include:
o Planning - performing general site surveys, coordinating issues with 354 CES partners to determine existing conditions and the level of repair that is required and coordinating requirements between all stakeholders.
o Design - performing technical design reviews, participating in design charrettes, and building detailed design requirements into the projects' statements of work.
o Acquisition - creating solicitation packages, gathering necessary reference data (i.
edesign reviews, as-builts drawings, and specifications), cost estimating, and performing required coordination with Governmental agencies/stakeholders to deliver a package out to potential bidders.
o Execution - Managing the execution of construction between the local contractors and the Government upon award until project closeout, providing technical expertise, monitoring scheduling and progress and controlling cost on behalf of the Government, and coordinating necessary Government stakeholder requirements in all stages of construction (i.
elaydown requests, project siting, handling necessary outages, DD1354s, inspections, etc.
)o Project work will include analysis and application of UFC and Alaska-specific (i.
eSub-Arctic Climate) codes to design and construction facilitiesWill serve as liaison with the Army Corps of Engineers, Navy Facilities Command, or other design agencies and will provide detailed technical reviews in functional engineering area, as required.
o Provide Planning, Programming, Engineering, Production Control, Inspection, and Project Management support.
o Must be able to work with a wide cross section of clients (e.
g.
, engineers, real property, contracting) and Cherokee employees to find solutions for the repair, modernization, and construction of military facilities and infrastructure.
o Performs other job-related duties as assigned Electrical Engineer Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested:
o Five years of relevant experience working with US military/DoD facilities and requirements.
o Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering but other relevant field will be considered; advanced degree is a plus.
o Registration as a Professional Engineer (PE) is requiredo PMP desired, but optional.
o Excellent communication skills in the oral, visual, and written mediums.
o Experience with design and construction of high-interest, high-visibility Air Force projects is desirable.
o Experience with key facility structural systems (roofs, foundations, load and non-load bearing components, etc is desiredExperience with electrical infrastructure systems is required.
o Experience with Auto CADD or equivalent is a plus.
o Experience managing programs with similar complexity with US Air Force, Army, Navy, or Marine Corps.
o Demonstrated record of accomplishment of working across disciplines such as contracting, engineering, finance, contractors, and stakeholders so proactively manage project cost, schedule, and quality.
o Ability to obtain and maintain a US Air Force NACI/SF85 for unescorted access to on-base facilities and access to government computer systems.
o Candidates must have a valid US passport whose expiration date is at least one year from the positions start date.

o Demonstrated leadership with diverse mission and ability to lead/communicate with diverse sets of mission and personnel.
